and the band played on

Twenty shows in and the band seems to really be getting over any sort of jitters they may have had when these shows started. A handful of audience shows have surfaced on etree and a few shows on live downloads have appeared giving a sampling of what these shows sure sound like.

Personally, I think they've hit on some really great, new songs (Star or Stone, Star Crossed Lonely Sailor) and the jamming has been excellent (Hot Buttered Biscuit, Blue Suede Shoes)

Unfortunately, goofs on the intertubes are still complaining about the "meandering" of the music, "we never liked the mud, waaahhhh" and how George Sluppick's "look" doesn't fit in with the band's style. Whatever the fuck that means.

Just goes to show there will always be armchair quarterbacks who couldn't get their garage bands off the ground gracing us with their expertise in band management, song selection, and what to wear to a gig. Maybe there's a Sims game for that

Relax! Smoke whatever it is you need to smoke, put on a show, and as Chris likes to say, "chill the fuck out!"
