Last night The Chris Robinson Brotherhood rolled into town for a sold out show at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club. The venue was jam packed and the vibe was on point for a southern rock throw down.

Being an avid Black Crowes and Chris Robinson fan, conceptualizing CRB (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) jamming in the intimacy of the Lincoln Theater equated to perhaps one of the most anticipated shows I have awaited in quite some time. Shortly after firing up a bouquet of incense emerging from atop an owl’s head figurine, the band took their rightful places on stage and a magical musical journey commenced.

(h/t Livin' from blackcrowes.net)

Chris Robinson grooved and sang his way through song after song during the Chris Robinson Brotherhood's Nov. 2, 2012, concert at the Neighborhood Theatre. While he occasionally grinned at his bandmates during lengthy jams, he reserved his biggest smiles of the night for his biggest fan. Standing just off the stage was his daughter, Cheyenne, who will turn 3 next month. Wearing big pink headphones and a black shirt emblazoned with a glittery "I Love Rock and Roll" across the front, Cheyenne watched, danced and stared as her father got the packed NoDa venue dancing and singing along.
