Update

I've gone ahead and updated 2011 setlists and statistics, as well as 2012 setlists. The Brotherhood has 170+ shows since March of 2011. Sprinkle in some shows with Jackie Greene and Bob Weir this year, and a few random Chris sightings with other bands and you'll see an absolute road horse and warrior. He's gotta be pushing 2000 shows over a 20-year career, and playing with some pretty damn good musicians. Impressive (or insane). To top it all off, the music keeps getting better. Kudos, Mr. Robinson.

Chris Robinson and his Brotherhood decamped from a few of the finer enclaves of California to play a show for some very happy folks in Brooklyn last night. “Glad you all could make it,” said Robinson a couple of songs into the first set. “This is our party.” Then he joked:

So lately, I've been putting the iPod on random CRB shows when it's time for bed, and I really got to say that it's great slumber music. There's a real dreamlike melancholy in the music and in the jamming, and Chris' voice on these songs puts me into lala land fairly quickly.
